Sir David Ames Fund
In 2022 the Norman Garon Trust established a fund in the name of the late, Sir David Ames.
This has been a huge success, allowing us to provide golf tuition to over 950 pupils during 2023 from a variety of schools in the area.
So far in 2024, we have already delivered sessions to over 300 new students, with plenty of new schools booked in throughout the year.
Karl Hepple Join as CEO
Karl joins the Trust on 1st April from Stoke by Nayland Resort, where he has held the position of Director of Golf & Leisure for the past 5 years.
His affiliation with sport, health and wellbeing became apparent early in his childhood where after playing multiple sports, he became golf obsessed. It wasn’t long before he took his passion one step further and began the journey of transitioning his sporting hobbies into a career.
