Norman Garon Trust provides meal for HAF programme

The Norman Garon Trust has again assisted the Triple T’s run a successful Holiday Activity Food Programme in the February Half Term by kindly providing lunch for over 30 children after they attended a float fiesta fun swimming session at Southend Leisure and Tennis.

Children were treated to a hearty lunch of Chicken Nuggets, Chips and Beans which was very welcome after the thrills of the session they had just done.

Sir David Ames Fund

In 2022 the Norman Garon Trust established a fund in the name of the late, Sir David Ames.

This has been a huge success, allowing us to provide golf tuition to over 950 pupils during 2023 from a variety of schools in the area.

So far in 2024, we have already delivered sessions to over 300 new students, with plenty of new schools booked in throughout the year.

Karl Hepple Join as CEO

Karl joins the Trust on 1st April from Stoke by Nayland Resort, where he has held the position of Director of Golf & Leisure for the past 5 years.

His affiliation with sport, health and wellbeing became apparent early in his childhood where after playing multiple sports, he became golf obsessed. It wasn’t long before he took his passion one step further and began the journey of transitioning his sporting hobbies into a career.
