In 2022 the Norman Garon Trust established a fund in the name of the late, Sir David Ames.

This has been a huge success, allowing us to provide golf tuition to over 950 pupils during 2023 from a variety of schools in the area.

So far in 2024, we have already delivered sessions to over 300 new students, with plenty of new schools booked in throughout the year.

The children participating may not normally have the opportunity or access to play golf from the Southend area.

Our plan is to continue to use this fund for coaching in schools which will allow us to provide the opportunity to even more children.
